CAP  Cadet Program Community Service Project
When:  Saturday, September 8th
                 8:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m.
                 Lunch will be provided
 
Where: Meet at the Church at Rocky Peak
               22601 Santa Susana Pass Road
               Chatsworth, CA. 91311
 
What:   To help a local church, The Church at
               Rocky Peak, help build houses
                 for transport to Mexico.
                                                                          
Why:  1. To perform community service.
                 (earns hours towards community
                      service ribbon)
           2.  To increase community awareness of
                CAP cadet program.
 
 BDU required. Wear squadron t-shirt under your blouse.
  Form 31 is also required.
 
 Bring a hammer!

Promotions Wedesnday, August 29th, 2007

Congradulations to Cadet 2nd Lt. Sean Quigley for achieveing the Mitchell Award and promotion to Cadet Second Lieutenant! Also, congradulations to cadet Gardiner for achieveing the Mary Fiek Award and being promoted to Cadet Senior Airman!

CAPM 39-1 Uniform change: Double Enlisted Grade Insignia now authorized on Blues uniform http://level2.cap.gov/documents/2007_07_uniform_changes.pdf

"c. Cadet Enlisted Grade Insignia on AF-style shirt and service coat. Cadet enlisted members are now authorized to wear grade insignia on both collars or lapels. The CAP cutout is no longer worn. Mandatory wear date for this change is 1 March2008."

 
   

Base Clean-up - June 30th, 2007: Lt. Colonel Cohen would like to thank all the cadets that helped clean up the base around our building. After several hours of hard work in the hot sun the improvement definately shows.

Nike Missile trip - May 16th, 2007

The trip was outstanding, cadets got to get an up-close and personal look at the former Nike Missile Magazines located at Sepulveda ANGS. Photos coming soon.
